Performing

Mostly Baroque violin and oboe, plus viola, cornetto, and viola da gamba, and others as needed. I regularly play with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra and I was a founding member of Wit's Folly.

Five historical wind instruments laid side by side

I've always sung and played a variety of instruments, and now I'm mostly settled as a Baroque treble-instrument player. This was fairly common in the 18th century, when almost all wind players initially trained and worked as violinists before specializing.
