Teaching

I'm interested in helping students understand why music is the way that it is, and what that means for what it could be.

I've taught music history at Baldwin Wallace and Case Western Reserve and directed the CWRU Collegium Musicum. Before getting into musicology, I taught college-level biology and led the chamber ensemble at Bard High School Early College in Manhattan.
